She kept it nasty, kept it classy, and now she’s returned badder than ever and LETHAL is her latest punk-rock-pop-rap album. This album is a top 2025 hype album for me. Since its release, songs like “Grave” and “Eat Me!” have been the power to my pregames Because what is more electrifying than Ms. Nasty yelling “Rocking shit like I rip on a guitar” over a guitar riff. This album is female rage served in the finest china and I was left licking the plate.
Her 2025 Tiny Desk concert is just the dessert to cap off the Lethal experience. There is a moment during this performance as she is singing her 2017 hit Tia Tamera (Minute 7:21) where the lights in the office cut off and before the silence completely fills the room the opening riff for “Son of a Gun” consumes the room. The rest of the set she stands in the dark room with a spotlight just on her. That moment represents what this album allows me to do: stand in my own spotlight and rock the f*ck out.
An amazing one for the punk girls.
