Another entry in Dijon’s ongoing devotion to the human experience. Baby is an album about desire and patience; it’s about trying, feeling, failing, and taking the time to sit with what all of that means. As the follow-up to his revered 2021 album/short film Absolutely , Dijon turns inward again, this time tracing the early, tender realities of fatherhood with a clarity that is genuine.
I appreciate how deeply Baby resonates even if you haven’t lived the life it documents. I’ve never been married. I’ve never been a father. I’ve never had a baby named Baby . Yet the way Dijon delivers each word, gentle yet weighted, makes the album feel universally accessible. He sings from a place of emotional truth, and that honesty invites anyone who moves through the world feelings-first to step inside.
2025 has been an all star year for the Artist/Producer. From his Grammy-nominated production work on Justin Bieber’s SWAG to stepping into acting alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘One Battle After Another’, to releasing his own project and the corresponding sold out tour, Dijon can no longer be your favorite next-up artist as steps into being a scene staple.
In the end, there isn’t much left to explain. Dijon says it best himself: “Baby; what a beautiful thing.”
